Maintaining physical wellness and self-care is paramount for college students’ academic success. The College provides several wellness activities, including exercise classes led by certified instructors, healthy eating challenges, and flu vaccinations at no cost to students. These programs specifically address being active and staying healthy.

The Carol Whitehill Moses Mobile Medical Center is coming to the Rockville Campus!
Get access to medical care and wellness services right on campus - available to all registered MC students (credit & non-credit).

Location: Outside the North Campus Garage
Dates:

  • December 4 and 11

Time: 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Credit students bring your MC ID.
WDCE students (non-credit students) bring a government issued ID and your course schedule.

Services are not free, but no student is turned away due to cost.

Services include:

  • HIV prevention & treatment
  • Pregnancy testing & options counseling
  • Gender-affirming care

Free Flow Project – FREE Period Products for Students at 蘑菇视频

The Free Flow Project, a partnership between the Student Wellness Center and Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC (PPMW), continues its mission to provide free period products to students across all campuses.
This traveling hygiene pantry is working to end period poverty by removing barriers and promoting student health, dignity, and equity.

All students are encouraged to register in advance by clicking the REGISTER button below. Supplies are limited—don’t miss out!

  • Rockville Campus: Thursday, December 4
    Time: Noon–3 p.m.
    Location: SV - Long Nguyen and Kimmy Duong Student Services Center Lobby/Atrium

STI/HIV Clinic: Collegewide Onsite Screening

This clinic is established with a partnership with Montgomery County Public Health Services to address the need for accessible STI and HIV screenings for improved health of MC students.  This is an opportunity for education, support, and access to additional resources.  The screenings will happen every week on Tuesdays on ECEC, RV, and TPSS campuses as a walk-in service on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Monthly on Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • 2nd Tuesdays in SV316 on the Rockville campus
    • 3rd Tuesdays in ST302 on the Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus
    • 4th Tuesdays in 106/107 on the East County Education Center

Sex Ed 101: Protect Yourself, Own Your Choices!

The Student Wellness Center, in partnership with Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC, invites you to a virtual workshop focused on STI prevention and birth control methods. Led by a sexual health educator, this interactive session will provide essential information on protecting your sexual health, understanding various contraceptive options, and making informed decisions.
